Meetings
We generally meet at the Mohair Centre, Chiddingly (unless otherwise stated) on the third Friday of each month. The charge is £2 for an individual and £3 for a couple to cover costs. Guest speakers are invited and experiences/problems are exchanged with like-minded members over a cuppa. The library and For Sale and Wanted boards are there for your use, and there's also a chance to buy members' produce. Arrive 7:45pm for 8:00pm start.

| 15 January 2010 | Uses of Beeswax by Maggi Pratt (SFTG member) Maggi will demonstrate how to make furniture polish and moulded candles. Come prepared to ‘have a go’ at making a rolled candle to take home (for £1) and buy some genuine beeswax furniture polish |
| 19 February | Preparing animals for showing: sheep, cattle and pigs Experienced SFTG members will share their knowledge on the best breeds to show, when to start preparing your animals, how to get the best from your animal i.e. conformation, the paperwork involved, transporting, care of animals whilst at the showground plus more. |
| 19 March | New Format Question Time at the Mohair Centre No speaker this evening – coffee/tea/library from 8.00pm followed by a constructive ‘Question and Answer’ session 8.30pm onwards (1 hour max). Any SFTG related question / topic will be discussed – bring your own ‘top tip’. |
