|16 Oct 2015 7:30 PM – 9:45 PM||Plumpton College|
Our meeting on 16th October will be held at Plumpton Agricultural College. (Details of the college can be found on their website. We meet in the Rural Studies building which is behind the main college and is accessed by the road which goes down the right-hand side of the main building. The Rural Studies block is a modern building on your left- hand side, come in the main entrance and go towards the rear of the building where you will see a staircase to your right which takes you upstairs and then turn left and you are in our meeting room. It’s not as difficult as it sounds!!). Our speaker will be Fred Maillardet who will be giving a presentation on the restoration of the Oldland Windmill at Hassocks in West Sussex.
The restoration of the windmill has been a long standing project and the mill’s history is a long one.
As usual, tea and coffee will be served before the meeting starts.
Jenny will bring along some of the library for members to have a browse and select books etc to borrow.
As ever, if you have any produce or items for sale, please bring them along and put them on the table just inside the meeting room door.payment-instructions SFTG BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY Bookings may be cancelled or transferred with no penalty if notification is received 7 or more days prior to the date of the course.
