|21 Oct 2016 7:30 AM – 9:45 AM||Plumpton College|
Our October meeting is on Friday 21st and will be held in the Rural Studies building at Plumpton College. We hold meetings there twice a year which gives members from the west of the region a lesser travelling distance to meetings. We have the use of one of their conference rooms which is fully equipped for films etc.
Our speaker will be Scarlett Penn who is the Chief Executive of WWOOF (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms) She will show a short film and then there will be a question and answer session. For those of you have not heard of WWOOF it a very interesting organisation which offers the opportunity for anyone to work on a farm anywhere in the world for free board and lodging for any period of time.
Tea,coffee and biscuits will be available from 7.45 with the film starting at 8.00.
As usual, if you have any produce or items for sale, please bring them along and place them on the table near the door.
On arrival, please make sure that you sign yourselves in as it is important that we know who is present in the event of an emergency.
For those of you who are unsure of the location of Plumpton College take a look at their website plumpton.ac.uk for details. On turning into the driveway of the college just keep going straight past the main college building on your lefthand side and carry on until you reach a parking area. The Rural Studies building consists of two storeys and we meet in the upstairs room.payment-instructions SFTG BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY Bookings may be cancelled or transferred with no penalty if notification is received 7 or more days prior to the date of the course.
