For our meeting on Friday 17th July at the Mohair Centre, our speaker will be Rob Wallace who will be telling us about the archaeological dig that has been taking place at Bridge Farm at Barcombe. Work has been going on for some years and many Roman artifacts have been discovered. Rob will be able to bring us up to date with the latest finds and how the dig is progressing. He will be showing us film/slides of the site.
As usual tea and coffee will be available before the meeting starts.
Jenny will be bringing the library which gives members an opportunity to browse and select books to borrow.
As ever, if you have any produce or items for sale, please bring them along and leave them on the table outside the door.
