Permanent Agriculture: how our culture is influenced by our farming practices, a brief history of the permaculture movement and it’s origins.  Permaculture is all about Earth Care, People Care and a Fair Share  12 Basic principles are described in this short over view of how to use permaculture design in planning projects and working the land.

Emma Goodwin is a Demeter Certified Biodynamic grower who has run a veg box scheme for the last 4 years in Forest Row.  Her one acre plot of no-dig raised beds has a beautiful friable loam that sits atop a heavy clay with woodchip paths and nitrogen fixing trees. Although she works with the biodynamic planting calendar, Emma also takes inspiration from the Natural Farming movement, Permaculture principles, and uses biochar, seeking inspiration from any source that helps create biodiversity and health in the soil.

Emma is also  the South East rep for the landworkers alliance see
